Created a brand identity for The Tun Legacy Foundation that ties into both the heritage of the Tun Tavern while being flexible in its branding to apply across all applications and uses of their organization.

Introduction

The Tun Legacy Foundation is leading the historic effort to rebuild the Tun Tavern, the birthplace of the United States Marine Corps, and restore its legacy as a symbol of American heritage and patriotism. As a non-profit organization, the Foundation is driven by a powerful vision: to inspire generations through The Tun® by embodying the spirit of American history and catalyzing civic engagement through enduring philanthropy. Their mission reflects this purpose with equal strength—to reestablish The Tun® as a monument to its historical significance in the United States, and to inspire a perpetual commitment to charitable giving that uplifts and empowers. Through this work, the Foundation honors the past while building a future rooted in service, remembrance, and community impact.

Their existing logo was difficult to apply across all applications of a brand, and lacked the historical appeal their brand represented while still being fluid to work across all channels of advertising, fundraising, and social media applications.
